Said Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, said on Tuesday that the international community wants to see a united Iraq, and while pointing to the lack of Kurdistan intention to secede from Iraq, he stressed the need for transparency in the export of oil from the region to ensure the equitable distribution of the proceeds.

He said the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said in a press conference held at the Government Palace and attended (range Press), said that "there are a recent visit of the President of the Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani to Baghdad."

Abadi said that "There is no intention for the secession of Kurdistan from Iraq and wonder why the call for a referendum," noting that "the international community wants to see a united Iraq and must follow a clear policy with Kurdistan to achieve this."

And on the economic file between the two sides Abadi said that it "must provide transparency in oil exports from Kurdistan to ensure the equitable distribution of the proceeds," noting that "efforts are being made to achieve transparency with Kurdistan in preparation for negotiations on the export of oil."
