Joint cooperation between the judiciary and the Association of Banks in the dissemination of banking culture

Based on the visit of a delegation of the Association of Banks headed by the President of the Association and members of the administrative body to the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Fayez Zaidan and agreed on several axes to support the banking sector, including the organization of workshops and training for judges for the purpose of education and awareness of banking and financial issues.

The workshop, which was attended by representatives of the Association focused on the concept of commercial fraud and the reasons for its spread in Iraq during the past years and how to put an end to it and address the causes and accountability of those in accordance with the law.

During the workshop, Dr. Hassib Kazem Jawid Al-Mayah reviewed the legislative environment necessary to deal with this phenomenon and ways of reducing it, noting the proposed treatments in this field.

During the workshop, discussions and discussions were held with the participation of the judges and officials of the Association, which focused on ways to raise awareness of the dangers of commercial fraud and to find a legislative base that would put an end to this phenomenon, which sometimes threatens the lives of citizens.
