Al-Abadi attacks biased to Daish: Strong Iraq will attend the summit of the Dead Sea victorious and unified

Since 2017-03-28 at 16:15 (Baghdad time)

Baghdad Mawazine News

The prime minister, before traveling to Jordan to attend the Arab summit at the Dead Sea, said he would convey the vision of victorious and "strong" Iraq over terrorist groups during his visit, while strongly condemning "biased to Daish" and accusing them of seeking to stop the liberation of Mosul by charging the troops Iraq.

"Iraq can play an important role in the policy of imposing security and stability and achieving economic integration at the level of the region, especially after its victories against criminal groups," Abadi told a news conference.

"We will go to Jordan today to represent the strong Iraq, which fought terrorism and won and can today play an important role to maintain security," he said, noting that "terrorism wants to divide us and we have to converge to eliminate it."

"We will attend the Arab summit meeting in Jordan to represent the strong Iraq that has won the victories of a unified Iraq that has suppressed terrorist gangs and will offer during our visit the country's vision of victory and unity before the Arab leaders participating in the meeting."

Abadi accused political circles he did not name by abusing the security forces during the ongoing battles in the areas of the city of Mosul, as well as their defense of criminal gangs.

"The area where innocent people have taken place in Mosul is controlled by the anti-terrorism forces," Abbadi said during the conference. "This is a criminal act and we are lining up with the people of Mosul to free them from terrorism."

"Some have chosen to take sides with Daash and accuse our forces," he said. "They want to stop the operations to get out the rush, but we will not allow that."

Abadi pointed out that "Al-Dawash used citizens as human shields to kill them and hurt them," adding that "we will eliminate them and there is no place for a da'ish in Iraq."

Abadi said that "the security forces continue to advance in the areas of the right coast in the city of Mosul to achieve victories against the gangs advocating criminal and save civilians from the control of those terrorist elements," noting that "the Iraqi government is determined to hold those who fail in the performance of their duties to civilians or abusive to them" .

He added that "criminal gangs began to use civilians as human shields and this explains the loss of the field achieved by the security forces during the leadership of the ongoing liberation battle." He accused "some political parties that he did not call to defend elements of criminal advocacy and criticism of the military units of the Iraqi army and popular mobilization."

On Monday, Abadi accused the so-called "policy-making" of his country of "provoking allegations" of targeting Iraqi civilians to save civilians in their last moments and of stopping international support for Iraq in its fight against terrorism.

Abadi said the investigation was continuing in the bombing of civilian houses in Mosul, whose victims are reported to have raised 531 civilians. Abadi said in an interview with newspaper editors, news agencies, political writers and academics in his office yesterday evening that the preliminary results of the investigation indicate that the target house is not within the line of the counter-terrorism forces.

He said the destroyed house had no traces of a missile
