Iraq discusses credit program with the International Monetary Fund
A senior Iraqi delegation took part Friday in the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington.
A statement by the Ministry of Finance received the "Economy News" a copy of it, the Iraqi delegation headed by Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Razzaq al-Issa discussed with the IMF team headed by Christian Goose, director of the negotiating team for the International Fund for the second review of the program of credit readiness (SBA) between Iraq and the International Monetary Fund As part of the Spring Meetings of the IMF and World Bank currently held in Washington, 2017.
The statement added that the Iraqi delegation included the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Dr. Ali Alalak and the adviser to the Prime Minister for Finance Dr. Mazhar Mohammed Saleh and the deputies and directors of the Ministries of Finance and Electricity and the Central Bank of Iraq.
