Jumaili: Reconstruction of Iraq in partnership with the private sector

Iraq's Ministry of Planning on Sunday held a conference for the reconstruction of Iraq after the war ended in Daqash, in Arbil.
Planning Minister Salman Jumaili said in a speech during the conference and his follow-up "Economy News" that the conference aims to develop a long-term plan, including the reconstruction of the devastated areas of Iraq and achieve economic development in the years 2018 to 2023.
Jumaili said reconstruction of the areas he controls would need $ 35 billion, and reconstruction of Mosul alone would require $ 14 billion.
"One of the most important foundations of the five-year plan is partnership with the private sector so that the sector can play an active role in national development. We will coordinate with the international community and international institutions to find the best ways to reach the specific goals. Plans for 2030 ".
