The government begins implementing the decisions of the Ministerial Council for National Security

The Federal Government has initiated the implementation of the decisions of the Ministerial Council for National Security regarding the referendum of the Kurdistan Region.
A government source said that "the federal government began to implement the decisions of the Ministerial Council for National Security on the referendum of the Kurdistan region immediately after the adoption, yesterday."
He added that "coordination with concerned countries to stop cooperation with the region on border ports and airports and the export of oil and we told these countries not to deal only through the federal government," noting that "these countries have expressed their consent and took concrete action on them."
He added that "directives were issued to the regulatory and judicial bodies competent to follow up the funds deposited in the account of the region and some politicians from the sale of oil sales of the region away from the federal government," stressing that "any talks will not be held with the Kurdistan region after the referendum unconstitutional."
He also pointed out that "there are practical measures will be taken in the areas under the control of the territory in which the imposition of the policy of the status quo, and this is unacceptable and will be addressed," noting that "the commencement of legal proceedings against employees who contribute to the implementation of the referendum of the province contrary to the decision of the Federal Court and other actions will take, In addition to the decisions of the Ministerial Council for National Security to maintain the unity of Iraqi territory and the protection of citizens. "
