Secretary - General of the Cabinet emphasizes the need for state cadres specialized in strategic planning
The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers confirms the need of the state for cadres specialized in strategic planning 14th April, 2018
Secretary General Cabinet Mahdi Keywords to the needs of the country cadres and specialized functional strategic planning and local administration to reform and fully aware development.
This came in his speech at the graduation ceremony of students of the Higher Diploma in the specialist of strategic planning and local administration for the academic year 2015-2016, which was held in the building (station), in the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank and the gathering of deans and heads of departments of administration and economics in many Iraqi universities.
The Secretary-General said that the government has launched several strategies, most notably the development plan (2018-2022), financial management and the general framework for reconstruction announced at the Kuwait International Conference, strategies that require cadres specialized in strategic planning to implement them.
The Secretary-General praised the role of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to develop specialization among state employees, and expand the seats in Iraqi universities, praising the efforts of the staff of the Secretariat and its advanced cadres for the development of this specialization.
For his part, the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and his adviser d. Salah al-Nuaimi that the first step of this specialization began with forty students, and developed to include 102 students, and then more than 200 distributors in eight universities are Baghdad, Mustansiriya, Basra, Dhi Qar, Qadisiyah, Tikrit, Babylon and Kufa.
The number of students graduating in 2015-2016 is 102 in strategic planning and 23 in public administration. The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the first students from each university and presented a summary of the distinguished research presented by the graduate students.
