Iraq entered the electoral silence period starting at 7 am on Friday.
All propaganda campaigns for candidates for the parliamentary elections, which began on April 14, have stopped.
The period of "electoral silence" continues for 24 hours, during which all parties and independent and coalition lists are prohibited from carrying out any activity in the framework of their electoral campaign, and it is strictly forbidden for candidates to carry out any process that is part of promotion, propaganda and gain of voters.
