The deputy of the parliamentary bloc of change Kawa Mohammed, on Monday, that the post of President of the Republic as a political custom has become a share of the Kurdish component, while noting that his party has many criticisms of the whole mechanism to be followed in the selection of the President of the Republic.

"The president's position as a political figure has become part of the Kurdish component," he said in an interview with Alsumaria News. "The change does not have a red line or a veto on a specific person for the same person, but we have many criticisms of the mechanism that is followed in choosing a president Republic by the Kurds ".

"The ruling parties in the region are the main reason for the inability of the Kurds to invest this important position to serve Iraq in general and to solve the problems between the region and the center and achieve the constitutional benefits of the Kurds in Iraq," adding that "What surprised him that the ruling parties are the same "They are talking about the issue of currency for the region and the passport of Kurdistan, and talk about two neighboring countries, we find today are fighting for the post of President of Iraq and important positions in the federal Iraq."

He stressed that "what is happening today reveals the false slogans that were raised by the two parties only to shed the ashes in the eyes and to win the emotions of the masses to achieve narrow partisan gains at the expense of the interest of the people of Kurdistan," pointing out that "the continuation of the struggle for positions between the two parties will bring us back to the square of the first two administrations In Erbil and the other Sulaymaniyah, which is what we are afraid of because the two parties combined interests and is also separated.
