The parliament held its second real session after the session of the selection of his presidency, which lasted more than two weeks, while politicians explained that today's session will be devoted to discuss the distribution of deputies between the parliamentary committees and the situation of Basra, excluding the presence of ministers of health and municipalities and water resources because of the synchronization of the meeting with the meeting of the Council of Ministers.


The MP for the stream of wisdom, Hassan Masoudi, in an interview for «morning»: The meeting today will be dedicated to the distribution of deputies between the committees according to the mechanism of testimony and experience as well as discuss the crisis in Basra, indicating that the meeting will be «administrative» as the second actual meeting held by the Council after the meeting Choose his presidency.


He added that the meeting will also include the hosting of ministers concerned with the issue of Basra, namely health, municipalities and housing to discuss the most important provision of services to the province, noting that the mechanism that will work in the distribution of deputies in the parliamentary committees depend on the certificate and experience as agreed by the political blocs as well as political consensus .


Al-Masoudi ruled out the presence of the concerned ministers to the meeting to coincide with the weekly cabinet meeting, stressing that the agenda of the session was free of choosing a president.


In turn, between a member of the House of Representatives, Tohma al-Lahibi, that the parliament session allocated according to its agenda to discuss the distribution of deputies between the parliamentary committees in addition to the crisis in Basra and what has been achieved in achieving the demands of its people.


In an interview with Al-Sabah, Al-Lahibi said that today's session includes two parts, the first of which is the distribution of deputies among the committees according to a deliberate mechanism, and the second is the crisis in Basra and what has been reached to resolve the crisis there.


He said al-Lahibi that the issue of Basra is very important and must host the ministers concerned to know what was reached to resolve the crisis in the province, noting that the meeting of the Council of Ministers today may prevent the arrival of ministers. In turn, a member of the Parliament of the victory bloc, Nada Shaker Jawdat, that today's session is the second session, which begins with the Parliament its actual work.


"The parliament will discuss in Basra today the issue of Basra, which needs quick solutions and it is necessary to attend service ministers to find out what has been accomplished in the province and find out where lies in the provision of services," Jawdat said.
