Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi announced on Tuesday that the former Prime Minister Nasser al-Abadi, the head of the coalition, had "the idea" of holding a regular meeting between him and former prime ministers to take advantage of previous experiences on the one hand and to contribute to the efforts to build and move forward.
The office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News a copy of it, "The Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi received, on Tuesday, the former Prime Minister President of the coalition of victory Haider Abadi."
The statement added that "during the meeting discussed the overall political and security situation and fight corruption and support the government in all areas of security, economic and service and provide everything that would serve the country and citizens."
"The Prime Minister presented to Dr. Abbadi the idea of holding a regular meeting between him and the former prime ministers to benefit from previous experiences on the one hand and to contribute to the efforts of change, construction and progress forward."
