Emanating from the Committee examined the National Forum coalition headed by Prime Ibrahim al-Jaafari, with its members identify paths follow up on all the topics, in order to discuss the results at the second meeting of the National Forum to be held soon.

A statement by Jaafari's office has received all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that "pop-up Committee for the National Forum on Wednesday held a meeting plenary; to discuss the recommendations that came out of the forum."

The Iraqi political powers agreed in a joint meeting of national contract last Tuesday to form a joint committee to follow up the file of the detainees and other demands of the demonstrators.

According to the statement issued by the meeting, the Joint Committee comprised of "President of the National Alliance Ibrahim al-Jaafari and Deputy Prime Minister the leader of the Iraqi List, Saleh al-Mutlaq, and vice president of the National Alliance Khalid al-Attiyah, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization Hadi al-Ameri, a member of the Kurdistan Alliance Muhsin al-Sadoun."

The statement pointed out that "it was agreed to form a joint committee to follow up the file of the detainees, and other demands of the demonstrators other with the concerned authorities in the government, the judiciary and the House of Representatives to submit its report to the meeting at its next meeting in a period not exceeding three days."
