Finance Minister receives World Bank Vice President

In the light of the visit, Mr. Prime Minister and government delegation to Washington during the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
World Bank President Jim Yong Kim pledged to send a high-level delegation to Baghdad to assess the necessary basic needs of displaced people and the reconstruction of the liberated areas and implement emergency projects and support of government and local authorities in building capacity.
Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari received today April 29, 2015 in Baghdad, Mr. Hafez Ghanem, World Bank Vice President and his accompanying delegation, During the meeting, the review of World Bank projects in Iraq and discuss the possibility that the World Bank provides the amount of two billion dollars allocated half to support the budget and the other half in the field installed stability in liberated areas, which will be freed from the terrorist entity Daash.
It is scheduled to pay a team from the World Bank visit the country next month to start implementing the projects.
