Finance Minister heads the Iraqi delegation in the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund in Amman

Chaired by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Hoshyar Zebari, the Iraqi delegation in the ongoing negotiations with the International Monetary Fund, which was held in the Jordanian capital Amman throughout the day June 3, 2015, to discuss the mechanics for a loan from the International Monetary Fund as part of the mechanism of rapid financing. This, it is hoped that Iraq gets a loan in the range of 827 million US dollars during the coming period.

These negotiations and come with a continuation of the Fund for the efforts of Iraq to obtain external financing to bridge the fiscal deficit in the budget and reduce the financial gap between revenue and expenditure.

And participated in these consultations, which lasted several days, Mr. Governor of the Central Bank and representatives of the bank and a number of general managers in the Ministry of Finance and Planning and oil.
