Baghdad-Iraq-Presse -24 July informed Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, that the liberation of the city of Ramadi from the control of the organization Daash will be soon.

This came during a meeting with al-Abadi, US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter and his accompanying delegation in Baghdad on Thursday evening.

 According to the Information Office of the Prime Minister a statement, that "During the meeting, they discussed strengthening the military and security cooperation between the two countries and developments in the security situation taking place in Iraq and the victories achieved in the process of liberalization of Anbar and the rest of the fronts of confrontation."

According to the statement Abadi pointed out that "our armed forces achieved victories over the enemy and edit gray will be soon," noting that "the troops fighting on the Iraqi land and we need to train and arm, and we have the full will to achieve victory and the liberation of every inch of the land of Iraq."

Abadi said that "cooperation between the two countries comes within the strategic relations and the agreement between the two countries, which are not limited to security and military side but also in economic and trade, cultural, educational and other side."

For his part, he praised the US Secretary of Defense "led by al-Abadi," stressing "his country's support to the stability and security of Iraq, and the Iraqi forces have the big ability and determination to defeat Daash terrorist gangs," according to the statement.
