To the Committee on Energy Parliamentary: Visit Abdul-Mahdi to try to apply the Kurdistan oil agreement

It considered the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary, Monday, Oil Minister Adel visit Abdul-Mahdi to the Kurdistan region to try to apply the oil agreement between the center and the region or to reach a new agreement that satisfies all parties format.

The Chairman of the Committee said Ares Abdullah, in an interview with Alsumaria News , "The oil agreement between the center and the region continues to exist and all parties grouped on the application."

Abdullah added that, "Abdul-Mahdi's visit to the Kurdistan region came from the goodwill of the central government in resolving the outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad problems," noting that "the visit to try to apply the oil agreement or contract a new agreement on the application of the Convention formula that satisfies all parties."

The Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi arrived, on Sunday (July 26, 2015), to Arbil and met with Kurdish regional president Massoud Barzani to discuss the oil agreement between the center and the region.
