Legal Committee of the House of Representatives confirmed on Wednesday that the amnesty law would not include criminals and covered by the anti-terrorism law, and whilst recognizing the existence of objections to some of its paragraphs, revealed the formation of a sub-committee to study the draft law.



Deputy Chairman of the Committee Mohsen Saadoun told a news conference at the parliament building and attended (range Press), "The draft law needs to be a thorough study and there will be a panel discussion of the Committee to be held on 12 August next, in the presence of all the relevant parties of the government and representatives of the Ministry of Justice and Labour and Social Affairs and rights rights and the Bar Association and the Supreme Judicial Council and the United Nations. "



He said al-Sadoun that "the law does not include criminals nor covered by its provisions apply to the fight against terrorism, No. 13 of 2005 the law," referring to "the existence of objections to some private paragraphs relating to the eligibility of any person alleging torture claim of a retrial of the judiciary."

The Iraqi Council of Representatives ended in the (July 5, 2015) the first reading of the draft of the amnesty law, while the law will be presented for the second reading soon.
