Central Bank eliminates the non-banking companies have registered

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network - Central Bank of Iraq announced the cancellation of non-banking companies has registered regardless of their access to leave from the Ministry of Commerce or not.
The deputy governor said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh (Brief Center for the Iraqi Media Network) that "the central bank had decided to cancel all non-banking companies registered unless he has made a request to the Central Bank for the purpose of registration in order to be controlled,"
"The banking companies registered and approved prior to 2003 were 300 companies only," but that these companies exceeded the thousands of a mixture of companies that operate according to the conditions and regulations of the Bank and the other got the license from the Ministry of Trade, while others operate without access to any vacation, referring to the "The companies that operate illegally do not have a share of the Central Bank within the distribution of foreign currency."
The central bank announced last month to close to 190 banking offices in Baghdad and the provinces for violating the legal requirements imposed by the bank.
