A spokesman for the authority Judge Abdul Sattar Bayrakdar in a statement seen by "obelisk", that "the Supreme Judicial Council adopted at its extraordinary meeting held on 17 this month, several trends."

He Bayrakdar, "decided to bring the elimination of the citizen by making urgent appeal decisions issued by the courts of personal status and personal material courts of the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal as discriminatory rather than the Federal Court of Cassation in Baghdad."

He added, "have been identified in terms of appeal all judgments and decisions, to provide clarity to stakeholders and raise confusion, which missed a lot of different rights."

The Bayrakdar "limiting the appeal by way of appeal proceedings which worth one million dinars or more in order to avoid procrastination and to secure the resolution of the case of little value smoothly and quickly."

He was President Fuad Masum, called on Wednesday (26 August 2015) the judiciary to carry out the necessary reforms and activating the work of the judiciary in earnest in the investigation of corruption cases, while stressing the need to protect and respect the Constitution as the basis for any reforms or procedures.
