Finance Minister receives US Ambassador delegation and the United States Agency for International Development

Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari received on August 31, 2015, Mr. Stuart Jones Ambassador of the United States in Iraq and advisor for economic Embassy.

During the meeting, they discussed developments in the political and economic situation in the country and plans of support and capacity building provided by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to the Ministry of Finance.

It was a technical meeting between the Ministry of Finance officials from the departments of public debt officials and the Department of Accounting and Budget Department and experts from the United States Agency for the development of the capacity of the ministry in the implementation of the general budget of the state and management of internal and external debt.
