Nassif: directed to approve a substitute for military service of the National Guard

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) stressed MP for the coalition of state law, high Nassif on the need to speed up the legislation of mandatory service law (military service) substitute for the National Guard.

The compulsory military service system was abolished after the fall of the former regime in 2003.

According to Nassif's (IMN) should be "on the political forces to go to military service after the adoption of the big differences on the Law of the National Guard."

"The adoption of compulsory military service law Dharroh became urgent at the present time in particular, and we are fighting a war against Daash terrorist gangs".

The unlike going on between the political blocs on the legislation of the National Guard Law called on the government to withdraw the law for the purpose of amendment, and concentrated these differences in the authority of these forces, as the National Alliance wants to be linked to the general commander of the armed forces and form of the people of all the provinces, while the union wants forces and Kurds that is linked to local governments of the provinces, and that is composed of people of the province itself.
