Said Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the holiday approved by the Council of Ministers will not affect the economic situation in Iraq. Dabbagh said that "the government has decided to disable the official working hours during the next week to open the way for Iraqis to celebrate Eid Al Fitr," explaining that "this holiday Atdhar to the economic situation of Iraq."
