Oil intends to establish a conference on transparency and integrity

BAGHDAD / JD / .. Oil Ministry plans to establish a special conference to improve the performance of the ministry in various institutions in the administrative, professional and application of standards of transparency and integrity in the ministry.

He said the ministry spokesman Assem Jihad, in a statement to the reporter (JD): The conference aims to apply the standards of transparency and integrity in all transactions of the Ministry and will continue for the period from 9-10 this month.

On the other hand said the Oil Ministry for finalizing the licensing round for the fourth (12) exploration blocks in 31 of the current month.

A source familiar with the Ministry is currently finalizing the fourth licensing round with the participation of 47 of the world's largest businesses.

The source added that the fourth round includes 12 exploration blocks, of which 7 gas fields, 5 oil, pointing out that the fourth round is different from its predecessors as it included three rounds sites extractive productive but the last round will include sites exploratory as well as sites produced, pointing out that the ministry will select companies according to International Standards. ended / 20
