The economic and investment commission, chaired by MP Jawad al- Chairman of the Committee on Wednesday, 24.2.2016 and in cooperation with the Iraqi National Business Council and specialized workshop to discuss the reasons for the spread of the phenomenon of corruption and mechanisms to fight under the banner of (Together we fight corruption), the Faculty of Management and Economics, University of Baghdad hall, in the presence of professors management and Economics faculties at Baghdad University and other universities and experts, specialists in the field of combating corruption.

The MP pointed Jawad al-Bolani, in his speech during the workshop that the scourge of corruption is now threatening the structure of the state as one of the impediments to progress and disruptive for all activities and service projects and construction and investment. "
He said al-Bolani said one of the main causes of corruption in all its forms and manifestations is a weak control on the one hand and the lack of social awareness on the other hand, Combating this type of crime must begin from the same citizen and ends at the judiciary, which must take its role legal as a its provisions are a deterrent for weak people. "

And accept Gentlemen academics and specialists of their research and studies related to the causes of corruption and how to achieve a society free from this phenomenon, urging the government to adopt the experiences of modern mechanics and successfully applied in many countries, which are the other was suffering from these crimes. "

The workshop concluded to make recommendations to the government in order to be adopted in the future plans as well as update the control mechanisms to the concerned authorities. "
