Referral of 26 cases of corruption of senior officials to the Iraqi judiciary

Announced the Commission on Public Integrity, said Thursday, referring 26 cases of corruption, related to the elimination of senior officials in the ministries of justice and health, Commercial Bank of Iraq, ".
The authority said in a statement on Radio NOAA received a copy of it, "field team investigative and checksum factor in the Trade Bank of Iraq, completed 13 cases were forwarded to the judiciary, related to senior officials postgraduate departments (did not disclose their names) in the bank."
She added that the Commission "has also referred eight cases to the judiciary relating to the Ministry of Justice, having monitored the field Working in the ministry, which is related to senior officials, high and departments (did not disclose their names)."
The statement continued, "There are five cases were referred to the judiciary, relating to financial irregularities and abuses and waste of public money, committed by senior graduate departments and officials (did not disclose their names) in the Ministry of Health."
It is worth mentioning that Iraq is among the most corrupt countries in the world, under the Transparency International index over the past years.
