Hello Everyone,

Today I bring you little news as the news channels are mostly very quite recently. I did hear that we can expect the General Amnesty to be submitted to parliament this week for a final vote, maybe on Thursday. Also that there will be a great shake up in the CBI this week if Amnesty is passed. We must wait and see how it all plays out.

Today is Monday March 14th 2016. Still no RV. Sorry!

No - Abadi’s speech on Thursday was not to announce the RV.
No - the rate in Iraq has not changed to $0.90-1.08. If it did then why are they coming right out on Thursday and telling us the government has a plan to raise the value of the dollar to 200,000 dinars for each $ 100 US Dollars to cover salaries, as I present the article below to you?

No – no groups are exchanging as there is not any new rate live at the banks. Nor can anyone exchange! If this were true this would make over tens of thousands of groups by now, almost all the dinar holders. There are not any such groups to begin with. Get it? It is all made up intel.

No – there are absolutely NO special exchange centers. I can assure you of this as I have confirmed this many times already with the US Treasury and the banks. This was passed on to you from a meeting that discussed only possibility of exchange centers and special 800 numbers to reserve time to exchange. But it was decided not to pursue this any longer due to the expense and the unpredictability of the RV due to the actions in Iraq

The only 800 numbers you are going to get are the 800 numbers that are already at the bank if they have currency exchange services. Simply go to their internet sites and read them, call and make a reservation with them when it is time to exchange Some banks may make special provisions for currency exchange that did not previously exchange currency.

No – none of these so called intel “gurus” will be getting a “package” of information to give you the details about the RV when it happens. They want to make themselves sound important to draw you in (sucker you in) to their calls.


Update: Iraqi Economy

On Friday an article came out telling us the government plans to raise the value of the dollar to 200,000 dinars for each $ 100 US Dollars to cover salaries. I did not bring the article with me today but I do want to talk about it. So what is this all about?

Personally I am not worried about this action as said in this article and nor should you. This is the third time I know of that they have done this so far. Each time they do it, it is temporary and is for a greater amount but it always settles back to around 1140-1166 rate soon afterwards. Think about it! This is a very good sign.

They have to pay the employee salaries somehow and do it now. The citizens are very angry at all the wasted money, money that could be going to pay them for their salaries and pensions. Remember nearly 21% of the population (7 million workers out of 35.9 million) are on some kind of the government payroll in Iraq. Each month, Iraq's government pays out nearly $4 billion in salaries and pensions. Can you see the dilemma they are in? Remember they also have to pay for military equipment, ammo and food for the soldiers not to mention loans and other assorted bills.

Instead all the money over the last years they could have had saved for a rainy day was stolen by these corrupt officials. So the strategy now is to give more dinars to the citizens for each dollar which means the CBI will be taking less out of its reserves which is in US dollars to pay for the salaries and pensions. This is an indirect way of cutting the cost of the salaries.

This process will continue each month that oil prices remain low or until we get the RV. The value of the dinar may even drop yet more until something is done to correct the situation.

What could help is a more diverse economy, less dependent on imports thus less money leaving the country in the form of converted dinars to US dollars. Remember these dollars come from the CBI reserves. Thus it is the CBI that must pay for the cost of imports.

So what will be the mechanism(s) to get them there? It is not as simple as just RVing the currency, as many of these idiotic so called intel “gurus” would tell you . If it was they would have already done it. Get it! I have said this before and have showed you over and over again why this RV in not the final solution but a by-product of the entire process.

They first have to satisfy both the paths I keep describing to you – the political side and the financial side. Replace the word “side” with the word “requirements” or mandates. Now do you understand? All of this should have been done already. Maliki has 8 years to do it and did nothing to move Iraq forward. Look at how much Abadi had accomplished in just 1.5 years. Yes- that is just a year and a half ! Imagine if Maliki and his goons were as invested in moving Iraq forward as they were in stealing money and marginalizing the Sunnis and Kurds? We would have seen the RV already and I would not be writing this news letter. Remember in those days oil prices were at $80-$120 dollars a barrel too. As Dr Shabibi said in an interview and I do not quote – Iraq has a golden opportunity in 2012 to enter the international community and passed it up due to political reasons.


Update: 45 Day Deadline for Technocratic Gov’t

Today is nearly mid March already. The clock is ticking as the GOI has until the end of March to fully seat this new “technocratic” government. The names of candidates for all but three ministries have been submitted to parliament already. These three ministers remaining refuse to resign. Abadi has reached out to Nori al-Maliki to try to get help in convincing them this is the appropriate thing to do but Maliki did not support the reforms. So once again we see the Dowa party holding back progress.

Update: Iraqi Corruption Cleanup

Oh no! ……More corruption discovered? When will it all end?

So now we see that employees have files and the many documents that could “fry” each of these corrupt officials. They are telling us this may number as many as 400. Some of the files are gone, as the officials bought them from the employees, as not to be discovered…more corruption in the part of the employees.

I quote from the article below - " the documents in these files , the characters are clear and explicit and can convict all of us simply for being hard evidence."

So did you ever ask yourself this question. If they convict and lock up all of these employees then who will run the government? Ah, ah….this is where the General Amnesty will come into play. They will have to adjust the Amnesty bill to be very specific to detail just what crimes were so bad and those horrific. Now can you see why the delay in the Amnesty bill?

As they try to get the Amnesty bill passed yet more and more corruption is discovered every day and the need to rethink just how they will handle all these corrupt people and these specific crimes. So amnesty is just not for those that have been locked up, rotting in the jail cells for years now. They must consider this new bunch too and also consider they must still run the government too some how.

At this time I said once the effort to get Abadi’s cabinet to a more technocratic government is settled, then Sadr would move on to the issue of reforms for the top political leaders. Remember too to pray to the princess of peace – Our Blessed Virgin Mary. She has the ear of Christ and she can intercede in heaven and bring us the peace we all desire here on earth. We can not do it alone. I believe that if we all make this our daily prayer you will see change. It is already working even in the short time since I have been publishing this prayer section. It does not matter what religion you believe, if you pray then to your oven beliefs entity it is still the same powers and good for all of mankind. Ultimately it is all the same God anyhow.
