Integrity thwarted an attempt to steal 19 billion dinars from the Rafidain Bank

Integrity Commission announced on Wednesday foiled an attempt to steal 19 billion dinars from the funds of the Rafidain Bank, while suggesting recovery of more than six billion dinars to the state treasury after trying disbursed odds instructions and controls.

According to a statement, the Commission on Public Integrity, received a (long-Presse), a copy of which, "The Commission was able to retrieve Aktrmen six billion dinars to the state treasury spent contrary to instructions and controls in cooperation with the Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Education."

The statement added, "The integrity has been able to foil an attempt to steal 19 billion dinars from the funds of the state's Rafidain Bank."

The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, decided yesterday, Tuesday, (the 7th of June 2016), the appointment of new directors of six state banks, while decided to exempt the intelligence chief and the assignment of the President of the Iraqi Media Network to retirement.
