Ghaban submit his resignation because of the lack of coordination between the security services in Baghdad

Interior Minister Mohammad Al-Ghabban said Tuesday to submit his resignation to the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi Karrada after the bloody bombings that killed more than two hundred people.

Ghabban said in a press conference, "submitted my resignation from my post to the Prime Minister because of the intersection of security powers and the lack of unified coordination of the security services."

Interior Minister Mohammed resigned Ghaban that administrative and financial agent of the Ministry of Interior Aqil al-Khazali will take responsibility instead of him for the pending resignation.

Abadi approve the resignation of the Iraqi Interior Minister

An informed, Wednesday source, for the approval of the Iraqi prime minister, Haider Abadi, on the resignation of the Interior Minister, Mohamed Salem Al Ghabban, from office.

The source said that "the Prime Minister agreed to the resignation of the interior minister from office."

The Interior Minister Mohammed Salem Al Ghabban, announced Tuesday, to submit his resignation from office to the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, and as he pointed to the existence of overlapping powers and intersections between the security services, confirmed that in the past resign.
