Central Bank warns citizens from scam operations in his name

Iraqi Central Bank, warned citizens from scam operations on his behalf, saying he did not intercede in the accounts of individuals or companies or organizations, and foreign remittances operations.

The bank said in a statement on Sunday briefed him tow, some weak people and scammers are carrying out a scam on some of the citizens, through the display of some services to follow the exchange instruments or transactions for loans and contracts with some financial institutions operations, in addition to promoting the possibility of meddling with the Central Bank in order to stroll the transactions above or those of contractors securities exchange, stressing that these allegations or the other is incorrect, and the Bank does not transfers of funds from abroad to persons or organizations inside Iraq.

He called on citizens to take caution of those attempts and allegations and reported to the competent security agencies.

The Central Bank of Iraq was established as an independent bank under the law issued on the sixth of March 2004, as an independent body, which is responsible for maintaining price stability and the implementation of monetary policy, including exchange rate policies being sessions a day for buying and selling currencies.
