Parliamentary Legal Committee reported that the vote on the draft law of accountability and justice will be during a session next Tuesday, indicating that there are political agreements to pass the law.

Said committee member Ibtisam al-Hilali, in an interview with «morning» that after the vote on the Baath and entities affiliated Prohibition Act, is expected to testify next week's vote on the accountability and justice law, stressing the importance of the adoption of this law.


Hilali and added that it was agreed that this law between the blocks and there is no dispute it, noting that the agreement was that there would be responsible for the courts of law and the existence of information that criminalize Baathists who have blood on their hands.

Hilali showed that the courts that will be formed will be a special accountability and justice, noting that the law will pass after compromises were to pass laws (banning of the Baath party, and the law of accountability and justice).

The House of Representatives voted last week to include the Justice and Accountability Law on Tuesday's session agenda. A parliamentary source said that «the House of Representatives voted in its regular Saturday, which was held last week to include the Justice and Accountability Act into the House of Representatives session scheduled agenda, on Tuesday of this week.

Referred to the Council of Ministers voted in (February 3, 2015) to the draft accountability and justice and the prohibition of the Baath Party Act, a law that has long stirred controversy in the political center, as already Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi stressed that the Baath conspirator party does not work with the dialogue, noting that Baathists who cooperated with «Daash» have no place in Iraq.
