Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Sunday, for the conduct of the International Monetary Fund adjustment to the price of a barrel of oil within the budget to reduce the deficit revealed, adding that Iraq currently sells its oil at $ 32 per barrel.

He said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh in a statement, said that "the International Monetary Fund, which is a large and prestigious international organizations expect the rise in oil prices for the next year," noting that "the fund saw that Iraq is an understatement at the price of the barrel, which put it within the budget of the next year in 2017 and $ 35 per barrel." .

Saleh added that "the Fund saw that it was possible to modify the price of oil in the budget next year, according to these data and be $ 43 per barrel, which is convenient for the average 2017 prices," he said, adding that "raising the price of a barrel of oil within the budget would reduce the budget deficit and thus they will claim not to external borrowing or reduce it significantly. "

Saleh pointed out that "the IMF projected over the next year to rise and prosper in oil prices, and not less than Iraq's sales of crude oil is less than the price of $ 43 per barrel," pointing out that "Iraq sells oil is currently priced at $ 32 per barrel."
