Parliamentary Finance reveal the reasons for the delay send 2017 budget to parliament

Parliamentary Finance Committee, revealed Saturday, about the reasons for delay in sending the draft budget for fiscal 2017 Act to the House of Representatives, as expected sent the end of this month.

A member of the committee MP Jabbar al-Abadi said in an interview for the Sumerian News, that "the existence of negotiations between Iraq and the global financial institutions is the reason for the delay in sending the draft budget for fiscal 2017 Act to the House of Representatives."

He said al-Abadi, that "these negotiations with the International Monetary Fund come to resolve a lot of issues related to the budget, including what the final terms of the oil price," referring to "the existence of other negotiations with the World Bank for obtaining a loan from him."


He said al-Abadi, that "after the return of the Iraqi delegation will send a budget to the Board included in the final financial figures," likely to "send the budget to the Council end of this month or early next month."

The Cabinet approved in, (6 September 2016), the final revision of the draft 2017 budget, also voted on a draft law to grant the employee a long vacation, which Dqgah State Consultative Council and forwarded to the House of Representatives.
