{Baghdad: Euphrates News} published and Euphrates News Agency {} Act ownership documents bearing the aliases for the displaced and immigrants who have changed their names and documents during the period of the former regime and for the period from July 17, 1968 until April 9, 2003.

Immigrants and Migrants

Article - 1 - First - A committee in the Ministry of Displacement and Migration headed by a judge nominated by the President of the Supreme Judicial Council and the membership director of the Legal Department in the Ministry of Displacement and Migration and representatives from the Ministry of Interior and Foreign Affairs and Justice.

Second - The Committee shall set forth in item (First) of this Article receipt of applications from Iraqis who have been forced to use the documents differ from their real names in the migration or on behalf in the event of their death.

Third - the Committee designated by the Chairman of the Committee decision and cost the receipt of applications and set a date audit and communicate the decisions of the Commission within (15) fifteen days from the date of issuance.

Fourth - The alias name taken by the Iraqi documents used in the migration differs from his real name or the name of his father or grandfather or his title or his name triple in forced migration due to the persecution of the former regime for the period from 17/07/1968 to 9/4/2003.

V - A - determine the period for receipt of applications by the committee formed under the provisions of this law for a period not exceeding one year from the date of starting the process of receipt of applications.

B - is the announcement of the start-up process of receipt of applications in the official media.

Article 2 - first - the Committee will consider applications and conduct verification of ownership documents bearing the alias of the applicant.

Secondly - based Committee to prove the ownership documents of the applicant to support the official authorities in destination countries associated support the Iraqi embassy competent and ratification by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the means of proof established in the law of evidence No. (107) for the year 1979 for the purpose of proving migration and displacement and the adoption of the following means of proof:

A - matching the image in the original documents with the image in the documents bearing a false name.

B - matching thumbprint and signature matching (if any) in the documents bearing the alias

C - any other means convinced by the Commission, including DNA testing.

Article 3 - I. - Commission meets at least one each month in the case of requests.

Second - The Committee shall decide the application within ninety (90) days from the date of receipt of the request of the Commission's decision.

Third - the applicant who refused his request to appeal the Commission's decision before the Administrative Court within (30) days from the date of notification of the Commission decision.

Article 4 - the Minister of Displacement and Migration in coordination with the National Committee for Displacement and Migration Affairs to issue instructions to facilitate the implementation of the provisions of this law.

Article 5 - This law shall be the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
