Baghdad is preparing to organize the end of this month, aims to strive for the development of the Iraqi economy, and to encourage British companies to work in Iraq.

The central bank stressed that the London conference and its outcome will improve the financial realities in Iraq.

An official source in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Rose Nuri Shaways, that «Baghdad is preparing to organize a conference on 30 and 31 Sept., in order to develop the Iraqi economy, and encouraging and urged British companies to invest and work in Iraq».

Said the source, who spoke to the Agency (aka News) that «the upcoming conference will be organized by the Union of businessmen Iraqi - British, and you will be involved dozens of British companies operating in Iraq, with a number of local companies». and pointed out that «the goal of the conference is development of the Iraqi economy, and urged greater number British companies to work in Iraq. Indicating that «discussions will take place on the obstacles and difficulties facing British companies while working in Iraq, which operates mostly in the cities of the Kurdistan region, in the province of Basra».

And added that «the conference will discuss measures needed to overcome the problems and obstacles facing the development sector of the Iraqi economy, and British companies operating in Iraq, especially that the Iraqi government is seeking to develop the country's economy ».
