Iraq looking with UNAMI exit from Chapter VII

Arbil September 23 / September (Rn) - Search and Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari with the Special Representative of the Secretary General, head of the UN mission to help Iraq Martin Kobler country emerges from the provisions of Chapter VII.
According to a statement issued by the Iraqi Foreign today that "Zebari discussed with Kubler in New York yesterday evening, discuss the role of UNAMI in Iraq on the basis of the mandate entrusted to it."
"The meeting also saw the discussion of ways to get out of Iraq from the provisions of Chapter VII and the role that could be played by the UN mission in this area."
The United Nations has developed Iraq under Chapter VII and be considered a threat to international peace and security following the invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
