The Central Bank of Iraq participates in the Arab Economic Forum

The Central Bank of Iraq (CBE) participated in the 25th Arab Economic Forum on Tuesday in Beirut.

A statement by the bank said that Deputy Governor Dr. Muntheralshaili represented the bank in the forum, which is attended by about 600 participants from Lebanon and the Arab countries, led by ministers and governors of central banks and leaders of Arab business institutions. The forum was organized by the Economy and Business Group in cooperation with the Central Bank of Lebanon The International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank, the IDAL Foundation and the Federation of Lebanese Chambers.

He added that the forum addresses a number of issues related to the current situation in the Arab world, highlighting the challenges of political and economic.

The statement said that the most important topics included in the forum are "the prospects of the region in light of the political and economic crises, the repercussions of political and economic repercussions and the prospects of possible political settlements in the light of global changes and their repercussions on the region", as well as "economic visions and challenges of reform and job creation, This axis of economic reform programs and the restructuring of subsidies, taxes, economic diversification and stimulus policies.
