The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan decides to return its deputies to Baghdad

Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, "Kosrat Rasul Ali," on Sunday, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the Iraqi parliament to return to Baghdad to carry out their work.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) announced today (Oct. 1, 2017) that "this came during a meeting with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), which included the Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan" Kusrat Rasul Ali "and member of the political bureau of the Union" Arslan Baez ".
"It was stressed during the meeting that the Iraqi parliament can not become a platform for decisions against the Kurdish people."
The Iraqi parliament last week authorized Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi to take a series of measures against the Kurdish region in response to a referendum on independence held on Monday.
Among the sanctions that are to be taken against the Kurdistan region is the redeployment of Iraqi forces in the disputed areas, the suspension of flights at Erbil and Sulaymaniyah airports and the delivery of border crossings to the central government, such as Ibrahim al-Khalil between the Iraqi-Turkish border and the Pashmakh and Parvez Khan ports on the Iraqi-Iranian border.

A member of the House of Representatives Adel Nuri, on Sunday, the return of the Kurdish blocs to the sessions of the Iraqi parliament, except for the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc.
Nuri said: 'The Kurdish blocs decided to end their boycott and return to the meetings of the House of Representatives', explaining that 'the blocks that decided to return are; change, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and the Islamic Union'.
The Kurdish blocs have decided to boycott the sessions, in protest against the refusal of parliament to hold a referendum on the Kurdish secession, and the dismissal of the governor of Kirkuk, Najmuddin Karim, before confirming its adherence to the boycott after the call by several political parties to end the boycott.
