The Association of Private Banks is participating alongside leading Iraqi bankers at the General Council of Islamic Banks in Istanbul

The Association of Iraqi Private Banks is participating in the third conference of the General Council of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions scheduled to be held in Istanbul from May 2-3.
In view of the importance of the conference in shaping the future policies and programs of Islamic banks in the world, the Association of Private Banks has been keen to extend invitations to the Iraqi banks to participate in its work and to benefit from the discussions, research and analysis that will be presented during its meetings, especially with regard to the Islamic finance industry, Traditional finance and ways to develop the Islamic financial services industry in light of the accelerating technological developments taking place in the world.
The agenda of the conference, organized by the General Council of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions, which is the official umbrella of Islamic financial institutions around the world, addresses the new ideas and ideas that will contribute to making the Islamic finance industry compatible with the developments of the traditional financial industry.
The conference, which will be held for the first time in partnership with Al Baraka Turki Bank and with the support of a group of Arab banks, will consider how to bring together stakeholders, decision-makers, Islamic banking leaders, representatives of supervisory authorities, supervisory bodies and users of financial services at one table.
The conference seeks to "take advantage of new innovations in enhancing the competitive advantages of the future Islamic banking industry."
The General Council of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI), an international organization of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), was established in Bahrain in 2001 on the initiative of the Islamic Development Bank and a number of Islamic financial institutions. Since then, he has set his sights on representing the Islamic financial industry globally.
