"In this regard, we would like to point out that the annual growth rate of the annual target in the plan will increase to 7 percent and that the contribution of the private sector to the annual investments will rise to 40 percent of the total investment.


Saleh said that "the method of partnership in production between the state and the private sector will be the adopted method to promote the reality of production," noting that "the plan does not neglect the targeting of poverty and reduce the current rates of 25 percent of the population because of the effects of terrorism, In the forefront of which is poverty reduction strategy as economic growth and employment increase and unemployment levels drop to one decimal place. "

State of the Future
"The National Development Plan 2018-2022 is an important step for the broader launch of the sustainable development journey in line with Iraq's Vision 2030, guided by a set of sectoral policies and strategies based primarily on human and social capital, "He said, adding that it is" ultimately a plan that paves the way for building a future state by addressing the challenges and targets set in Vision 2030, and providing new opportunities for growth, especially with continued international and regional support for Iraq. "


The priorities of the plan will be to address the backwardness of the economic sectors, the disintegration of the community structures, the weak governmental and institutional role, the small role of the local private sector and its reluctance to invest in order to overcome the underfunding and provide an appropriate and stimulating business environment for the exercise of various economic activities.


Business Environment
He explained that the National Development Plan 2018-2022 was based on analyzing the reality and charting specific tracks to guide the priorities. The National Development Plan 2018-2022 aims to achieve a growth rate in the Iraqi economy by 7 percent by raising the gross domestic product to 292.5 trillion dinars in 2022 from 182.2 trillion dinars in 2015.


The expected revenues during the plan will reach 440 trillion dinars, of which 370.2 trillion dinars of oil revenues and about 70 trillion dinars of non-oil revenues, while the volume of oil production in 2022 to about 5 million barrels per day and an export rate of up to 4 million barrels per day.


And between Hindawi "As for the investments required during the five-year plan will be 220.6 trillion dinars, of which 132 trillion government investments amounting to 60 percent of the total investment, and there are 88.6 trillion dinars are from the private sector and 40 percent of total investment, Mining, construction and finance

He pointed out that "the organization of the economy in the need for plans and mechanisms of work regularly to complete the work gradually according to what was drawn, which achieves the goals of development in a gradual and accurate, and this is in line with the aspirations of the local economy owner of the components of development

He urged "the need for concerted efforts by all to work to change the reality of the national economy, by providing the necessary work requirements for completion in accordance with international quality standards and completion periods."


Development Plans
"Economic development requires development plans at different periods that outline the tracks of work and the most important goals that positively affect the life of society. Therefore, the development plan 2018-2022 is important to modernize the reality of the national economy," she said.
