Parliament decides to hold a special session tomorrow

The parliamentary chamber announced on Wednesday that it was decided to hold an extraordinary session of the House of Representatives on Thursday.

The Chamber said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, "the Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided to hold an extraordinary session on Thursday, the 24 May."

"The meeting will be at 4 pm," the department said, adding that "this came at the request made after a number of deputies who throw a focus on the transparency and integrity of the electoral work."


The House of Representatives failed last Saturday, a special session to discuss the fraud, which took place on the 12 of May, because of the lack of quorum, while the session turned into a deliberative session resulted in the sending of an official letter to the Electoral Commission for elections that included all means that include availability Confidence in the electoral process, including random counting and referral of criminal cases to the competent authorities in cases of misbehavior and to provide political entities with light results and ensure the process of matching data sent through several funds.
