Rasheed Bank on Wednesday began selling foreign currency to pilgrims.

"The direct sale of the foreign currency to the pilgrims has been started, with a total of 3,000 dollars per pilgrim," the bank said in a statement.
"The bank's branches will be approved next to Karkh al-Jawadin, Yarmouk, Al-Ma'amoun and Al-Rusafa, which is Shorja, Ragheb Khatoon, Al-Tejari and Al-Masbah," the bank said.
The central bank earlier decided to sell the dollar to pilgrims, noting that the sale of the dollar will be at the official rate.
