HEC completes part of manual counting of votes in Karbala

High Electoral Commission (HEC) has completed a part of the manual counting and sorting of Parliamentary elections' votes, which some political parties appealed and complained against in Karbala province, a source at the HEC said.
The source explained that the HEC completed the manual counting of votes in 245 polling stations out of 508 polling stations.
The results of the manual counting of votes in 245 polling stations are matching the results that were previously announced.
The Parliamentary elections was marked by record low turnout. It was the first since Iraq declared victory over the ISIS group and the fourth since the 2003 US-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.
