The newspaper quoted a senior political official as saying that "the Electoral Commission is still procrastinating in its work in the re-counting and manual counting, and did not specify any date to announce the results," noting that "there is a link between the political parties and the Commission, on time and delay the announcement of the results until a political settlement is reached Or convergence between the blocs on the formation of the next government. "


He added that "the fears of a new political crisis in the event of the announcement of the results, through the objection of some blocks on them and stabbed, pushed some blocks to move in order to bring about a rapprochement between the blocks, and activating political dialogue, and gain time before the announcement of the results."

He stressed that "most blocs do not want crises, as much as they want to achieve political gains, which led to the understanding with the Commission, which in turn opened the door to gain time, and did not set any date to end the counting and sorting or announcement of results," explaining that "UNHCR also wants to prevail dialogue language And political consensus before the results are announced. "

The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) said on Saturday that the results of the manual counting and counting were incorrect, indicating that the final results will be announced after the completion of the centers and stations in the governorates and abroad, which received complaints and appeals.
