Today the counting begins in Diyala

Kurdish joint demands paper

Qassem pointed out that "the joint Kurdish delegation is waiting for the stability of the political situation in Baghdad and end the process of counting and counting of the results of the election, as well as solve the problem of popular protests to put the joint paper before other parties."

While confirming the leadership in the National Coalition, former MP Abdul Karim Abtan, said that "the understandings made by the National Coalition with the political blocs were positive, has stipulated in his understandings that the next government easy to solve in the event of deviation from the government program, which will be ratified by the next parliament.

He added that "this condition can not be achieved only in the absence of interference by political blocs in imposing their will on the next prime minister to name his cabinet and leave the freedom of choice for the prime minister to be accountable to the political blocs and the Iraqi people."


Consensus on the largest bloc
The former MP Harith al-Harthy said, "The state can not be built without the presence of its real elements and its basic components, foremost of which is the legislative authority," noting that "the ratification of the results will lead to the completion of alliances between the winning blocs in the House of Representatives, Formation of the next government. "

He believes that "speeding up the process of counting and sorting the hand and ensure the validity of the election results and free of fraud is the first step fruitful towards the process of state-building."

In the same matter, the head of the Iraqi Foundation for Strategic Studies, Wathiq al-Hashemi, told Al-Sabah that "the results of the elections will be completed by the beginning of next month," pointing out that "this delay is a constitutional violation, considering that the House of Representatives must be held on July 1."

He stressed that "any new delay in the announcement of the election results would disrupt the implementation of the legitimate demands of citizens."
