Tuesday, 28 August 2018 - 10:41 PM
Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said on Tuesday that the Iraqi government is optimistic about the rise in oil prices and is leaning towards relying on small and medium-sized enterprises.
"The government's work is continuing to raise the Iraqi economy to advanced levels and to lay solid foundations for its construction. We have established this despite the lack of resources and low oil prices. We are optimistic about the rise in oil prices," Abbadi said at his weekly press conference. Economy and not just for the purpose of spending, we are working to benefit from the private sector and rely on small and medium enterprises to support the economy and not only large enterprises.
