Don961: Article: “Abadi: We will not risk the interests of our people to please Iran or any other country” LINK
MilitiaMan: Lets not forget that Abadi has been looking to move the ball forward for the people and that includes the Kurds.
One of the SBA agreements with the IMF is in regard to the Budget and the Kurds getting a fair share of it and with combining Baghdad and Erbil into one budget, imo. Well the SBA was/is a tool for giving investors security that is derived from the SBA with the IMF..
The IMF brings clout to the region. They held off in 2018 so far, as they were awaiting the elections and to seat the gov. Well now we know that is slated for tomorrow. This link below shows support for my thinking.
The article below that and the talk of paying the Kurds monthly and electroncially suggests they have a number in mind for the budget already.. imo Also Samsons post #52 is interesting along the lines of payments on going monthly, as we also saw the other day for the Kurds. imo ~ MM
