The Central Bank reduces the professional practice fees for banking offices

The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Monday the reduction of fees for the practice of banking offices, indicating that it will be implemented as of 2019.

The bank said in a statement received by Alsumaria News that "based on the decision of the Board of Directors No. 107 of 2018, it was decided that the wages of practicing the profession for your companies by 2 million dinars a year instead of five million dinars."

"These wages will be implemented as of 2019," the bank said.


The Central Bank of Iraq was established as an independent bank under its law of 6 March 2004 as an independent body responsible for maintaining price stability and implementing monetary policy. It supervises 10 commercial banks, 26 private banks and 16 Islamic banks, as well as 19 foreign banks. 6 financial institutions and 31 financial transfer companies.
