Alliance for Reform and Reconstruction: to resolve the positions of prime ministers and the republic in one basket

The General Assembly of the Alliance for Reform and Reconstruction held its first meeting on Wednesday evening in the office of the head of the Iraqi Wisdom Movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, in the absence of the head of the alliance of victory, Haider al-Abadi, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr.

"The first meeting of the General Assembly of the Alliance of Reform, held in the presence of the affiliated blocs, and that there is an agenda prepared in advance," said the head of the alliance, Hassan al-Akoli, in a press conference after the meeting.

He added 'within the agenda of the definition of the public body, and discuss the political issues, and the formation of the government, and the selection of the President of the Republic on the basis laid by the religious authority and blocks'.

He pointed out that 'the meeting came out with important decisions confirmed the keenness of the political blocs, and went on the reform alliance to form a strong government that is a hope for the Iraqi people'.

The spokesman of the National Wisdom Current, Nofal Abu Raghef, revealed that the political understandings are moving toward the formation of the prime ministers and the republic in one basket.

The meeting comes after holding the leadership of the coalition last Sunday its third periodic meeting in the presence of the leaders of the coalition, where the meeting stressed the institutionalization of the coalition and the need to turn it into a political institution capable of decision-making and performance monitoring. The participants discussed the development of the administrative program of the cluster institution, and discuss the latest developments in the political situation, and reached the results of dialogues on candidates for the post of President of the Republic, and dialogue with other political blocs on the touches of forming the government.
