Trade Minister calls for Islamic cooperation to participate in WTO trade fair in Baghdad

Trade Minister Mohammed Hashem al-Ani on Thursday called on trade ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to participate in the 16th trade fair of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to be held in Baghdad in April.
This came during the speech of Minister Al-Ani at the meetings of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) at its 34th session in the Turkish city of Istanbul, chaired by Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuad Aktay.
In his speech, the Minister of Commerce thanked the COMCEC countries and praised the efforts exerted by OIC Member States and the decisions made by the meetings which contribute to the development of the economies of the Islamic countries, stressing that Iraq supports and supports all decisions and initiatives that serve the member countries.
During his speech, Al Ani addressed the official invitation of the representatives of the member countries and the ministers of trade to participate in the 16th Trade Fair of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which will be held in Baghdad for the period 7-13 April next year, urging them to participate and interact with this important event which will enhance trade and investment relations between member countries. .
Istanbul, Turkey, hosted the meetings of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) at its 34th session, which will last for four days.
A ministerial session of the OIC Economic and Commercial Cooperation Committee (COMCEC) was held in Istanbul on Wednesday. It was chaired by Fouad Oktay, Turkish Vice President.
The session was held within the framework of the 34th Session of the Committee and dealt with means of facilitating trade through the "improvement of customs risk management systems" in the OIC Member States, which is chaired by Turkey.
