The House of Representatives gives confidence to the candidates of the Ministries of Planning, Higher Education and Culture

The House of Representatives voted in its 19th session held under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohamed Halboussi, Speaker of the House of Representatives on Tuesday 18/12/2018 and in the presence of 276 deputies, to grant confidence to three ministers, while rejecting the vote on the candidates of the Ministries of Education, Migration and Displaced.
At the outset of the meeting, the Council voted to submit the third paragraph of the agenda for completing the vote on the ministerial formation.
In the same matter, the President of the Council presented the letter addressed by the Prime Minister to the House of Representatives on 4/12, containing the remaining names to fill the ministerial posts for submission to vote, noting that the letter included the provision of alternative names during the period between 24 - 48 hours in case Current names rejected.
The Council voted to give confidence to the ladies and gentlemen of the ministers, namely, Nuri Nateq al-Dulaimi, Minister of Planning, Dr. Qusay al-Suhail, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Abdul Amir al-Hamdani, Minister of Culture. The council refused to grant confidence to the candidate of the Ministry of Education, And displaced Hana Hana Emanuel, as well as postponement of the vote on the candidates of the Ministries of Interior, Defense and Justice.
The President of the Council in the presence of the Ministers at the next Thursday to take the constitutional oath before the House of Representatives, calling on the Prime Minister to submit new candidates within a maximum of 48 hours according to the contents of the book sent to the Council.
He instructed the president to be on Wednesday especially for the election of the presidents, deputies and rapporteurs of the parliamentary committees under the presidency of the Council on the election process.

It was then decided to adjourn the meeting until Thursday, 20/12/2018.

The deputy of Wisdom Hassan Khalati, on Tuesday, the four ministries that have been agreed to pass in today's session, while ruling out the passage of the Ministry of Education during the session.
He said Khalati said in an interview with Alsumaria News, that "it was agreed to pass four ministries in the parliament session scheduled for today," noting that "these ministries are immigration, higher education, culture and planning."
"Differences over the other four ministries - interior, defense, justice and education - are still going on," he said, adding that "whenever there is a meeting, there are differences and boycotts."
"If four ministries are offered today, we will enter the session and vote on it," he said. "There are attempts to pass the Ministry of Education, but we do not think it will be achieved."
It is scheduled to hold on Tuesday the House of Representatives its 19th, which included its agenda to complete the vote on the ministerial lineup.
